  • How Samir Doubled The Reviews for his cafe in 30 Days with trustEngine terminal & QR Codes

When Samir first opened his café in downtown Austin, he knew good service and quality products would bring customers in. What he didn’t realize was how critical online reviews would be for getting new customers to walk through the door in the first place.

They were getting praise in person, but online? Crickets.

He asked people to leave a review on Google or Yelp, but even the happiest customers would forget by the time they got home. It wasn’t that they didn’t want to support the business — the process was just inconvenient.

That’s when Samir discovered trustEngine, a video review and feedback platform that uses QR codes and so much more to automate review collection in-store.

The Turning Point: Making Reviews Frictionless

The idea was simple: put a tablet at the counter, put up QR codes in few places around the store and ask customers to scan it before they leave.

What surprised Samir was how well it worked.

    Customers could either:

    • Tap the screen to leave a review, or
    • Scan the QR code with their phone for a touch-free option

The QR code took them straight to our custom review page — no logins, no passwords, no confusion. In under a minute, they could choose a smiley face, write a review, or record a quick video testimonial (and yes — the cafe offered a small reward for doing so).

    From 12 Reviews a Month to Over 80 — Here’s Why

Using trustEngine’s QR code review app meant we were collecting reviews right at the point of experience — when people were happiest and most willing to share.

trustEngine has such a customized flow so:

    • Happy customers are asked to leave public reviews
    • Unhappy customers are immediately connected to management so they can provide private feedback, which helped the cafe an opportunity to address concerns and fix problems before they became 1-star ratings. Customers can still leave low ratings if the issues are not addressed by the management
    • All reviews are moderated, so the business has an opportunity to flag fake reviews.

Samir’s cafe also enabled trustEngines video review collection feature, which felt way more authentic than text. And because trustEngine integrates with Google, Yelp, and can even post your video reviews directly to your YouTube channel, the cafe started showing up more in searches — and in a much better light. The cafe’s trustEngine landing page shows all the reviews collected and those reviews can also be displayed on the cafe’s own website through trustEngines review showcase widgets.

Why Video Reviews Changed the Game

When someone new looks at the cafes business profile now, they don’t just see 5-star ratings. They see real faces and authentic voices talking about our café.

That kind of social proof is powerful. Way more than ads or even influencer posts. One customer told me, “Your reviews felt real. I knew I could trust you.”

Easy to Set Up, Affordable to Run

What sold Samir was how simple it was to get started with trustEngine:

    • He signed up for a TrustEngine account
    • Customized their trustEngine profile with their logo and business links
    • The system generated their in-store QR code
    • Placed a tablet next to the register (and QR codes near the exit)

The trustEngine monthly fee was less than one sponsored Instagram post, and the ROI? Far higher. Their foot traffic increased. Repeat visits rose. Online visibility improved. All because they finally had a review collection tool built for walk-in businesses.

If You’re Still Asking for Reviews Later — You’re Losing Business

People forget. That’s just reality. But when you collect reviews on the spot, especially with a QR code or the trustEngine review collection terminal that’s fast and easy, the game changes.

If you’re a small business owner — whether you run a salon, auto shop, boutique, or restaurant — you need to make review collection a seamless part of the checkout experience.

    trustEngine makes that possible.

  • TrustPilot is Broken for Small Businesses — Meet trustEngine, the Smarter Alternative

If you’re a small business owner, you already know the power of customer reviews. They influence trust, drive conversions, and decide whether a new customer picks you—or your competitor.

But here’s the truth no one tells you:

Platforms like Trustpilot weren’t built for you.

They were built for enterprise brands with big budgets and marketing departments who can manage them.

So what happens when an HVAC contractor, boutique salon, local dentist, or Shopify store tries to use Trustpilot?

    They run into:

    • Expensive monthly fees
    • Limited control over review display
    • Delayed or low review volume
    • Hard-to-use tools for on-the-ground teams
    • No real support for capturing feedback at the point of experience

    That’s why we built trustEngine.

    What Is trustEngine?

trustEngine is your third-party review partner—built specifically for local businesses and service providers who need to grow their online reputation without paying enterprise prices.

We give you the tools to collect real reviews, in real-time, from real customers.

    • On your job sites
    • In your retail store
    • At your point-of-sale

You get text reviews, voice feedback, and even 30-second video testimonials—all in one place, all under your control.

The Problems With Trustpilot (and Why Businesses Are Leaving)

    1. Too Expensive for What You Get
Trustpilot’s pricing tiers lock critical features behind $300+ monthly fees. For small business owners, that’s often more than the ROI justifies.
    2. Harder to Get Reviews
Their model relies on post-purchase emails. But most customers never open them. If you’re not getting reviews at the moment of experience, you’re missing your best shot.
    3. They Own the Experience
Once a review is on Trustpilot, it lives in their world. You can’t customize how it looks, how it’s shown on your site, or where it’s published. You’re stuck.

    How trustEngine Works

    1. Tablet App for In-Store Reviews

Turn a tablet into your review collection machine. Customers tap the screen, scan a QR code, and leave their feedback on the spot—text, audio, or video.

    2. Field Tech QR Codes

Give your team members a personalized QR code to collect reviews from the field. No logins, no friction—just real reviews, when the job is done and the customer’s happy.

    3. Incentivized Collection

Customers earn rewards, loyalty points, or upgrades in exchange for sharing their feedback. You control the incentive.

    4. YouTube Integration

Video reviews post automatically to your YouTube channel, enhancing SEO and building social proof in a format people trust.

    Why Video Reviews Matter

    Here’s what makes trustEngine’s video-first model a game-changer:

    • Harder to fake than text reviews
    • More emotional and trustworthy
    • Perfect for social sharing and Google visibility
    • Memorable — a smiling customer on camera builds more trust than five paragraphs of text ever could

Bottom Line: trustEngine Was Built for You

Trustpilot was built for the enterprise.

trustEngine was built for small businesses who do big things.

If you’re a service provider, local store, ecommerce shop, or home repair pro trying to grow your reputation, you don’t need more complexity—you need tools that just work.

    You need a third-party review partner that’s:

    • Affordable
    • Transparent
    • Mobile-first
    • Video-ready
    • Focused on real customer experiences

    That’s trustEngine.

  • How to Collect Customer Reviews Without Begging: Automating Feedback at Point-of-Experience

Published by TrustEngine – A better reviews platform designed for local businesses

The Problem Most Small Businesses Face

If you’re running a local service business—whether it’s HVAC, landscaping, home cleaning, a coffee shop or a dental clinic—you already know the drill: you do great work, your customers are happy, but when it comes time to collect reviews… silence.

You send an email, maybe a text. “Would you mind leaving us a review?” The customer says yes, but doesn’t do it. You follow up. You remind them. You wait. Eventually, you start feeling like you’re begging.

This isn’t a failure of your service—it’s a failure of your marketing process.

Why Review Collection Is Broken for SMBs

Most review platforms, including Trustpilot, weren’t built with local businesses in mind. They assume your customers are sitting at a desk, ready to write a paragraph. But that’s not the reality for small businesses, especially those in home services, healthcare, wellness, or trades.

You’re delivering services in the real world, on the move. Your customers are often mobile, busy, and distracted. Even when they’re thrilled with your work, the gap between great service and positive review is too wide—and it’s costing you business.

The Moment of Maximum Trust: Point-of-Experience (PoE)

Here’s what the top 1% of review-optimized businesses understand:

The best time to ask for a review is at the moment of emotional peak—right after a great service experience.

That moment is fleeting. If you miss it, every hour that passes drops your review odds significantly. It’s not about nagging. It’s about capturing feedback while the experience is fresh—what we call the Point-of-Experience (PoE).

    Automation Is the Answer

Stop sending one-off review requests. Automate it.

With the right review system—like TrustEngine—you can automatically trigger review requests as soon as a service is completed, while your brand is still top of mind.

Here’s How SMBs Are Doing It with TrustEngine

    • 📲 Instant SMS
As soon as a job is marked complete, a pre-built SMS goes out with a review link—timed to hit while the customer still remembers the experience clearly.
    • 🔄 Integration with Scheduling or Invoicing Tools
Review requests are automatically triggered based on actual service milestones—no need for staff to remember or follow up.
    • 🧠 Smart Routing Logic
Happy customers (e.g., 4- and 5-star ratings) are prompted to leave public reviews, while less-than-satisfied customers are directed to internal feedback channels—protecting your online reputation and giving you a chance to fix issues privately.
    • 🎯 QR Code Review Capture
We provide your business with a dedicated QR code. Your technicians can carry this on a lanyard, invoice, or clipboard. At the point of service, the customer simply scans it and leaves a review on the spot—as text or even better, as a 30-second video testimonial. These high-trust reviews are gold for your online presence.
    • 🏪 TrustEngine Terminal for Storefronts
Install the TrustEngine app on a tablet at your reception or checkout counter. This becomes your in-house review collection machine. As customers check out or complete their visit, they can quickly leave a review. You can even incentivize participation with loyalty points, a discount on a future service, or a free upgrade—you decide. It turns positive experiences into visible proof and strengthens customer retention.

    This isn’t just easier—it’s smarter.

Real-World Example: How A Local Electrician Doubled Reviews in 30 Days

Eric, who runs a 5-person electrical business in Austin, was getting about 2 reviews per month—despite completing over 60 jobs. After switching to TrustEngine and automating review collection at PoE, he started getting 15+ verified reviews monthly, without following up manually even once.

Now, his business ranks in the local 3-pack for “emergency electrician Austin”—a change that’s added thousands in monthly bookings.

Why This Matters for Your Local SEO

Local search rankings (Google Maps, 3-pack, organic results) are heavily influenced by:

    • Review quantity
    • Review recency
    • Review quality (length, sentiment, keywords)

Automating review collection at PoE gives you all three. That means more visibility, more traffic, and more high-intent leads—without paying for ads or wasting time.

Don’t Beg. Build a Review Machine.

Begging for reviews is inefficient and unsustainable. High-growth SMBs are switching to automation—turning reviews into a flywheel of trust and visibility.

TrustEngine was built specifically to help local and service-based businesses turn real experiences into real reviews—at the moment they matter most.

    Ready to Start?

Whether you’re a solo contractor or a growing team, TrustEngine can help you:

    • Set up automated review requests
    • Integrate with your booking or invoicing system
    • Start collecting verified, keyword-rich reviews in days—not months

  • Google Reviews Aren’t Enough: Why Small Businesses Need a Multi-Channel Reputation Strategy

If you’re a small business owner — whether you run a plumbing company, a coffee shop, or a coworking space — you probably already know how important Google Reviews are. They help boost your local SEO, build trust with prospects, and provide social proof when it matters most.

But here’s the truth most businesses overlook:

Relying on Google Reviews alone is a dangerous, limited strategy.

Google might be the biggest review platform, but it isn’t the only one. And in today’s digital-first world, your reputation lives across multiple channels — YouTube, Facebook, industry directories, your own website, and even private DMs.

The Problem With a Google-Only Review Strategy

Here’s why focusing only on Google Reviews limits your growth and visibility:

    1. Platform Dependence Is Risky

Google can filter, flag, or remove reviews — often without notice or explanation. You don’t control the platform. If your account is suspended, flagged, or reviews get nuked, your reputation goes with it.

    2. No Ownership or Reusability

You can’t easily repurpose Google Reviews on your website, in your ads, or on social. That means you’re building trust — but not your own assets.

    3. No Video Support

Google doesn’t let customers leave video testimonials — and yet, video is the highest-converting format for building trust in 2025.

    4. Lack of Direct Feedback Loops

Google doesn’t help you capture private feedback, manage unhappy customers before they go public, or track long-term sentiment trends.

A Multi-Channel Reputation Strategy Drives Real Growth

Smart businesses today spread their social proof across multiple trusted platforms. That includes:

    • Video testimonials on YouTube
    • Customer reviews on Facebook, Yelp, TripAdvisor
    • Embedded reviews on your website
    • Industry-specific directories (Houzz, Angi, Thumbtack, etc.)
    • Private feedback captured pre-review to resolve issues early

This approach builds resilience, boosts visibility on more surfaces, and gives customers more ways to trust you — wherever they find you.

This Is Where trustEngine Comes In

trustEngine is built from the ground up to help small businesses like yours capture, manage, and distribute reviews across every key channel — not just Google.

    ✳️ Capture Reviews In-Location or In-Field

With the trustEngine Terminal (a tablet-based review station) or mobile-friendly QR cards, you can collect reviews immediately at the point of experience — not hours later when the moment is lost.

📹 Capture Video Reviews (with Consent)

Video reviews build instant credibility and emotional connection. trustEngine makes it easy to capture and auto-publish them to YouTube or your website — with built-in SEO benefits.

💬 Private Feedback Loops (FTC Compliant)

Ask customers how they’re feeling before they leave a review. If they’re unhappy, route them to management. If they’re happy, guide them to leave a public review — without violating FTC anti-gating rules.

    🌍 Multi-Channel Distribution

With one click, you can publish great reviews to:

    • Your Google profile
    • Your website (SEO schema ready)
    • Your Facebook page
    • Your YouTube channel
    • SMS, email campaigns, or WhatsApp for new leads

    📊 Sentiment & Reputation Analytics

Track what people are saying, which staff members drive great feedback, and how review volume and tone change over time — all in one dashboard.

Small Business Pricing That Actually Works

Most “enterprise review platforms” cost $300–$1,000/month — way out of reach for a local landscaper or garage door tech.

trustEngine starts at under $100/month, with everything you need to:

    • 3x your review volume
    • Capture video testimonials
    • Manage feedback loops
    • Publish reviews across multiple channels
    • And measure your brand reputation in real time

Final Word: Diversify or Be Invisible

In 2025, the businesses that win are the ones who own their customer stories — and don’t rely on a single platform to do it.

If Google removes your reviews tomorrow, would you still have proof you’re the best?

trustEngine gives you control, flexibility, and results — all designed for small businesses who don’t have time to mess around with clunky tools or overpriced software.

  • The 25 Most Important Questions Parents Ask on the Road to Elite College Admissions

A guide for families with high-achieving students who want every advantage—without the guesswork.

For parents of high-performing students, the high school years aren’t just about grades and report cards—they’re the foundation of a college journey that can open doors for a lifetime. But what should that journey look like?

The truth is, most families find themselves overwhelmed by the sheer volume of decisions: Which classes matter most? What kind of extracurriculars make a difference? Is a summer program really necessary? And when is too early—or too late—to begin preparing?

At Pathways, we’ve listened closely to thousands of questions from families just like yours. The list below reflects the 25 most frequently asked—and most impactful—questions parents ask as their children prepare for competitive college admissions.

Whether your student is aiming for the Ivy League, a BS/MD program, or simply looking to maximize their potential, these are the questions that matter.

    Academic Planning

    1. What courses should my child take in high school to be competitive for Ivy League or top-tier colleges?
Elite colleges want to see rigor. That means the most challenging course load your school offers, especially in core subjects.

    2. Is it better to take an AP course and get a B, or take a regular class and get an A?
This is one of the most nuanced tradeoffs. We break down how admissions teams actually interpret this.

    3. Should my child prioritize honors or dual-enrollment courses over APs?
Not all course types are viewed equally—context and academic goals matter.

    4. How early should my child start taking advanced math or science?
STEM-oriented students should plan their trajectories from 8th or 9th grade onward.

    5. Is class rank or GPA more important?
The answer depends heavily on your school’s profile and how it’s perceived by colleges.

    6. Will fewer APs at my child’s school hurt their chances?
Admissions offices evaluate students within the context of their school’s offerings.

    7. Should we consider transferring to a better-resourced or less competitive school?
This is a growing trend. We explore the strategy and tradeoffs of such a move.

    8. What electives should my child choose to demonstrate intellectual curiosity?
Colleges appreciate intellectual depth, especially when it aligns with a student’s intended major.

    Testing Strategy

    9. Should my child still take the SAT or ACT even if schools are test-optional?
Test-optional doesn’t mean test-ignored—especially for top schools and merit aid.

    10. When should standardized test prep begin?
Timing is everything—especially if you’re aiming for National Merit or early decision.

    11. Does the PSAT matter?
Only for some students—but it can be the gateway to significant scholarships.

    12. Should my student submit AP scores or SAT Subject Test alternatives?
Even post-subject-tests, APs can fill a similar role in demonstrating academic strength.

    Extracurriculars and Summer Planning

    13. What extracurriculars actually matter to top schools?
Depth, impact, and alignment matter more than a crowded resume.

    14. Is it better to be well-rounded or develop a “spike”?
Colleges are building a well-rounded class—not seeking only well-rounded individuals.

    15. Are expensive summer programs necessary?
Some are resume-polishers. Others are life-changing. We’ll show you how to tell the difference.

    16. What counts more: leadership or competition results?
Both show initiative, but in different ways. It depends on your student’s story.

    17. How can my child find research or internship opportunities in high school?
You don’t need Ivy League connections—just the right strategies.

    Strategic Planning

    18. When should we begin planning for college admissions?
The short answer: earlier than you think. We lay out a grade-by-grade roadmap.

    19. How do we build strong recommendation relationships?
Top colleges rely on these letters to understand what a transcript can’t say.

    20. How should my child develop a compelling narrative?
It’s not just what they do—it’s how it all fits together. The “application arc” matters.

    21. What are the biggest mistakes high-achieving students make?
We outline the common pitfalls that derail even the most promising applications.

    22. Should we hire an admissions counselor?
We break down when families benefit most from outside help—and how to choose the right kind.

  • The Role of Advising in SAT/ACT Score Improvement

How Targeted Guidance Is Driving Real Gains for Students Nationwide

Standardized tests like the SAT and ACT remain important benchmarks for college admissions—especially as top-tier universities increasingly reinstate testing requirements post-pandemic. In this competitive landscape, advising can make a measurable difference in score outcomes.

    The Data: What’s at Stake

Research from the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER, 2022) and Education Trust indicates that:

    • Students working with a dedicated test prep advisor show average improvements of 90–150 points on the SAT and 2–4 points on the ACT.
    • Students from underrepresented backgrounds close score gaps by up to 60% when supported by structured prep and advising (source: College Board & ACT Research).
    • Advising is most effective when personalized: A 2019 NACAC study found that one-on-one guidance yields better results than large group sessions or online-only platforms.

    Why Advising Works

    1. Strategic Test Selection:
Advisors help students determine whether the SAT or ACT better aligns with their strengths—leading to more targeted prep and reduced anxiety.
    2. Customized Study Plans:
Every student learns differently. Advisors tailor plans that account for diagnostic performance, learning style, and timelines. This reduces wasted effort and keeps students on track.
    3. Accountability + Feedback Loops:
Regular check-ins ensure that momentum is maintained. Students who follow structured advising programs complete 30% more practice exams and submit 70% more essays for review (source: Pathways internal analytics).
    4. Test-Taking Techniques:
Advisors share test-specific strategies—from pacing and guessing tactics to anxiety management—that make a tangible difference on test day.

What Makes the Pathways Model Different

Traditional test prep services are often expensive, inflexible, and built around lengthy packages. Pathways changes the game:

    • Peer Advisors who scored in the top 1% share firsthand strategies and tools they used—offering recent, relatable, and effective insight.
    • Professional Coaches help students create score-maximization strategies backed by years of experience.
    • No Lock-In: Book one session or many. Use credits flexibly. Choose who you work with.
    • Track Record of Success: Pathways’ average reported improvement is +110 SAT points and +3.1 ACT points after 3 or more consults.

    Real Students, Real Results

“I was stuck at a 1290 SAT despite studying on my own. One session with a peer advisor from UCLA showed me exactly where I was losing points. After 6 weeks, I hit 1420.”—Jaya S., Class of 2024

“My ACT English went from 24 to 33 after working with a med school student who taught me grammar patterns no book had explained clearly.”—Noah G., Illinois

  • When Should You Start Studying for the MCAT?

When it comes to the MCAT, timing is everything. Start too late and you’re in a scramble, sacrificing comprehension for cramming. Start too early and you risk burning out before test day. As a peer advisor who has worked with dozens of aspiring med students, I’ve seen the consequences of both — and the rewards of a well-timed, strategic study plan.

So, when should you start studying for the MCAT? The most effective answer is rooted in your personal timeline, academic background, and career aspirations — but there are empirical patterns that apply to most students.

Most students take the MCAT in the spring or summer of their junior year, aiming to apply in the following cycle (May–June). This means your study window should begin at least 4–6 months prior to your planned test date.

    For example:

    • MCAT Date: May 2026
    • Start Studying: January 2026 (or earlier if balancing a heavy course load)

Why this timeline? It leaves room for content review, practice exams, and full-length simulations — the three critical phases of effective MCAT prep.

Phase Breakdown: A Realistic 5–6 Month Approach

    Month 1–2: Content Review

    • Focus: Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Psychology/Sociology, Biochemistry
    • Resources: AAMC content outline, Kaplan or Princeton Review books, Anki flashcards
    • Goal: Build foundation, identify weak areas

    Month 3–4: Practice + Application

    • Focus: Section-specific drills, passage practice
    • Resources: UWorld, AAMC Section Bank
    • Goal: Develop test-taking strategies, improve timing

    Month 5–6: Full-Length Exams + Review

    • Focus: Simulating real test conditions
    • Resources: AAMC practice tests, Next Step full-lengths
    • Goal: Endurance, pacing, stamina, analytics-based review

    Early Start? Pros and Cons

Start 8–12 months in advance if:

    • You have a demanding course load or work schedule
    • You want to study part-time (~10 hours/week)
    • You’re aiming for a 515+ and want extended review + testing cycles

    Risks of starting too early:

    • Retention may suffer without regular reinforcement
    • You may lose motivation or focus over time

Start 3–4 months in advance only if:

    • You’ve recently completed your pre-reqs
    • You can dedicate 25–30 hours per week to MCAT prep
    • You’re a highly efficient learner with prior exposure to content

Factors That Should Shape Your Timeline

    1. Academic Background:
If you haven’t taken biochemistry, psychology, or sociology — wait. These are heavily tested sections, and rushing the process could cost you points.

    2. GPA & Extracurricular Load:
If your GPA needs strengthening or you’re balancing heavy research/clinical hours, you’ll need a longer, lighter MCAT prep plan.

    3. Application Timing:
The MCAT is just one piece. You’ll need time for personal statements, letters of recommendation, and secondary applications. Back-planning from your application cycle is crucial.

A Strategic Tip: Start with a Diagnostic Exam

Before opening a single book, take a full-length diagnostic exam. This gives you:

    • A baseline score
    • Clarity on your weakest subjects
    • A roadmap for how to prioritize study time

It’s humbling — but essential. Many students skip this step and waste weeks on topics they already know.

    How Pathways Can Help

At Pathways, we connect aspiring medical students with peer advisors and former admissions professionals who’ve walked the same path. Our advisors can help:

    • Build a personalized MCAT study timeline

    Final Word

The MCAT isn’t just another test. It’s a gateway. When you start studying for it should be a strategic decision — not a rushed one. Give yourself time to prepare with purpose, not panic.

If you’re navigating the timeline now, talk to a Pathways advisor and create a roadmap that fits your goals, your strengths, and your life. Because when it comes to med school admissions, there’s no one-size-fits-all — but there is a smarter way forward.

  • Unlocking Confidence for all service transactions with TheServiceBridge: Introducing TrustLock

On ServiceBridge, where talented pros meet great projects, there’s a new way to make sure everyone feels secure: TrustLock.

Think of TrustLock as a super-safe vault for your project money. When a client hires someone, the payment goes into this vault. It stays there, locked away, until everyone is happy with the work.

The name TRUSTLOCK isn’t just a catchy title; it stands for

    Trusted
    Release
    Under
    Simple
    Terms
    Limited
    Only to
    Contract
    Keyholders.

    How TrustLock Works Simply

Here’s the key: ServiceBridge itself doesn’t touch your money.

The TrustLock is only controlled by the client and the service provider involved in the project. Those two are the only keyholders of the Trust Lock

TrustLock is an optional feature on every transaction. We do not require clients to enable it for every project. Hoever, Clients have this flexibility allowing them to secure funds for medium to high-value transactions, while still being able to transact freely and quickly on smaller ones.

Plus,TrustLock is a great tool for building trust with new or less-established service providers. If you encounter a provider with a newer profile or a lower rating, you can choose to enable TrustLock for that transaction. This empowers new providers to build a strong reputation on the platform without you feeling anxious about working with someone who has less history.

Setting Up Your TrustLock: Your Rules, Your Protection

What makes TrustLock so powerful is that you (the client) and your chosen service provider define how it works right from the start of your transaction.

Before any work begins, you’ll set up your TrustLock agreement, which includes:

    • Payment Milestones: You’ll break down the project into smaller parts (milestones) and decide how much money will be released at each step. For example, 25% after the first draft, another 25% after revisions, and so on.
    • Payment Release Conditions: For every milestone, you’ll clearly state what needs to happen for the money to be released. This could be “delivery of code,” “approval of design,” or “completion of specific tasks.”
    • Instruction and Confirmation: For each payment release, one party will tell TrustLock to release the money, and the other party must confirm that it’s okay to do so.
This two-step process ensures both sides agree. While it’s recommended that the final 25% of the project’s payment is only released when 100% of the work is complete, remember, the terms are entirely up to you and your service provider to define.
This flexibility allows you to tailor the TrustLock to fit your specific project needs. You can choose from a library of common dispute resolution protocols or craft your own to perfectly match your project’s unique requirements

Handling Disputes – Your Clear Path to Resolution with TrustLock by TSB

Every TrustLock agreement must include a very clear plan for what happens if there’s a disagreement. ServiceBridge is never involved as a middleman or a party to your transaction. The TrustLock is only a way for the two parties to build a greater layer of trust in their transaction. In many cases, if a dispute arises, it simply means both parties need to talk it out and come to an amicable agreement. Once you’ve sorted it out, you’ll send the same instruction to TrustLock to release the funds according to your agreed-upon resolution.

In other situations, if an amicable agreement isn’t possible, your TrustLock might state that you both agree to go to binding arbitration. This means a neutral third party will hear both sides and make a final decision on how the funds should be released.

Once that decision is made, both the client and provider must instruct TrustLock to release the funds based on the arbitrator’s ruling. One instructs, the other confirms, and the lock is released. No employee from The Service Bridge can override, manipulate or release a TrustLock. This means your money is always protected and only releasable by the Contract participants.

With TrustLock on The ServiceBridge, Clients can start projects knowing their funds are secure until the job is done right. And service providers can work with confidence, knowing their payment is waiting and guaranteed once their work meets the agreed-upon terms.TrustLock takes the worry out of transactions on ServiceBridge, letting everyone focus on creating amazing things together.
